The Renegade Partisan

It occurred to me, and has in the past that many are drawing their lines in the sand. Some of us are younger than others, and some are no longer here with us. Some saw the beginning of this, and did not see the end. While some did not see the beginning and will definitely see the end.

I wanted to lay out the attack just on our Bill Of Rights so far. Prepared to be enraged, or re-enraged upon reading this and knowing where you really stand.

In 1861 the Tenth Amendment died. The Federal government told the states that they could not voluntarily and legally leave a union they had voluntarily joined.

With the patriot act of 2001 the Ninth Amendment died. Most will agree that the Ninth Amendment protected implicit rights which include both the right to privacy which is outlined in Griswold v. Connecticut (1965), and also protects the basic right to travel as well as the right to the presumption of innocence.

The Eighth Amendment died its final death in 2001 as well under the patriot act. Under this legislation prisoners are able to be treated in cruel and unusual ways. It should be brought to the public’s attention that this country no longer adheres to the Geneva Convention.

The Seventh Amendment provides that we shall all receive the option for a trial by jury in suits related to common law in excess of twenty dollars. While this still stands historically forces at work would like to see this taken away and the sole power put in a judges hand, a good example is the modern argument that juries are not qualified to rule on complex cases and instead one person a judge should instead.

The Sixth Amendment which protects your right to a trial by jury, which gives rights to the accused, the confrontation clause, a speedy trial, a public trial and right to council all died their final dramatic deaths with the passing of the patriot act legislation in 2001.

The Fifth amendment protects your due process, and against double jeopardy, self-incrimination and eminent domain. This died along with the Sixth Amendment with the passing of the Patriot Act of 2001 as you can be held to answer for crimes without a trial, without right for indefinitely.

The Fourth Amendment protects from unreasonable search and seizure. Again with the passing of the patriot act of 2001 this Amendment died. You can now be wiretapped which includes your internet connection and any digital or analog communications you may use as well as your home being searched without warrant, without consent and without your knowledge.

The Third Amendment protects against the quartering of troops. During hurricane Katrina US troops took quarter without permission inside a church and other surrounding structures without permission during gun confiscations. This constitutes a violation of not just the Third Amendment, but also the now defunct posse comitatus act which prohibited such behavior even further with greater definition.

The Second Amendment is suppose to be the last ditch protection for the people against tyranny. It provides a way of protection and reminder that the people hold the power not the government. Should the government which gets it power from the people forget that the founding fathers laid the foundation and path for restoration or revolution. This Second Amendment has over time become more restricted as activist judges and political climates have changed and sought to limit its true meaning. To me the Second Amendment means I should be able to own anything man portable or small arms related in order to protect myself, my family, and my state from tyranny both foreign and domestic. Without out the Second Amendment in full affect you can read every previous trespass that has been committed and see what happens when they restrict our rights.

The First Amendment reads “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”.

Essentially The First Amendment provides protection of free speech, free press and of the assembly; right to petition.

I would venture to say that the creation of free speech zones away from areas where one would demonstrate to be a violation of the First Amendment.

Their are many violations of the First Amendment and you should know them, but it is not my job to do everything for you.

Our founding fathers taught us to be responsible for our individual rights to liberty, to the heritage which brought them to us and to defend them at all costs.

It is my belief that since Andrew Jackson left the presidency that this country has slowly succumb to the political money interests of the bankers. This solidified with the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and so on and so fourth from that point till now.

Where we are heading is going to be very dark. We are divided. We share no worthwhile common bonds and yet we continue to subscribe to socio-political thought processes that are abhorrent to what we say we stand for.

God. Family. Liberty. Truth. Justice. Honor. Courage. Diligence.

In order to bring back these virtues which made this country great and its people the greatest on the planet we will have to overcome stupendous odds and climb peaks of unrelenting height and torture.

Their is no choice. A day of action is hovering on the horizon.

You are either with the constitution and the God Given Rights which are outlined or you are not.

Courage is not the absence of fear but the mastery of it.  Be ready time is getting shorter.
